Is a 1300 SAT score competitive enough for top-tier colleges?
I recently received a 1300 sat score, and I'm trying to figure out how competitive it is for college admissions. I know that scores can vary in significance depending on the school, but I’m particularly interested in understanding if a 1300 is considered strong for highly ranked schools, or if I need to focus on improving my score. I’ve heard that many schools have shifted toward test-optional policies, but I still want to know if a 1300 will help my chances or if I should aim for something higher.
