To register for the PM Kisan scheme, visit the official PM-Kisan website and locate the "New Farmer Registration" option under the "Farmer Corner" section. Enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number, and bank account details, verify your Aadhaar number using the OTP sent to your mobile, provide additional personal and land details as required, review the information, and submit the registration form. Upon successful submission, you will receive a confirmation message along with a registration number. Keep this number for future reference, and if needed, contact the PM-Kisan Helpline for assistance.
The Kisan Credit Card (KCC) is a credit scheme introduced by the Government of India to provide farmers with timely and adequate credit for their agricultural needs. It aims to support farmers in accessing credit easily and at affordable rates to meet their agricultural expenses throughout the cropping season. Under the Kisan Credit Card scheme, eligible farmers are provided with a credit card that allows them to avail of short-term credit facilities for various agricultural purposes, including the purchase of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other inputs, as well as for meeting crop production expenses, post-harvest expenses, and consumption needs.
